The pack completely changes the visuals within vanilla Minecraft, making it an almost unrecognizable game with stunning graphics. But it falls just a bit short in every area and doesn't support the Nether, so it's only worth noting for those looking to use it as a starting point to program their own custom shader.Very few resource packs manage to achieve what the Patrix resource pack achieves. There's a shader pack called Wisdom which is intriguing because it's open source licensed and almost as good as SEUS/Sildur's. Continuum 2 is unusable on my system, and I have a moderately high end Nvidia card. Continuum 1.3 is a SEUS edit, but I've found it to be less compatible with mods while adding relatively little (nicer clouds, if I remember right). Chocapic13 (the basis for Sildur's) has been finicky for me, and doesn't support the Nether.

Those are probably the only two I can really recommend. I use it whenever I'm playing without the specific mods it conflicts with. Sildur's Vibrant Shaders is probably my favorite purely visually, but I've encountered some mods it doesn't play well with (Weather 2, Streams). It's still one of the best overall, and seems to be the most reliable (I've had less trouble using it with other mods, it works correctly in the Nether, etc.). SEUS Renewed is the classic, non-raytraced version. (#spoiler) = neat!
